Kitchen Cabinet Trends
April 12, 2011
As remodeling contractors, we make a lot of recommendations and see a lot of design ideas here at CAGE Design Build, including kitchen cabinet suggestions.
When it comes to cabinets, white never outdates itself. We’ve pulled out numerous white kitchens from the 1970s and replaced them with updated white counterparts.
A natural maple kitchen can date itself to the 1990s, and oak or white washed maple cabinets can date themselves to a 1980s kitchen. White cabinets make the room classic and timeless for decades.
In addition to color, we like to offer kitchen cabinet design suggestions, too. Our favorite is the shaker style doors (as seen above and below) for a couple of reasons. This simple design can be either contemporary or traditional depending on what it’s paired with in the rest of the kitchen. Using cabinets with less detail on the door make it easier to clean, too.
What additional kitchen cabinet designs and colors have you seen that you like?
